Introduction
Hi, I’m Linda Mann, a mixed media artist based in Palatka, Florida. Living on the banks of the Saint Johns River, I’m constantly inspired by the colors, textures, and energy of nature around me. My art is about more than paint on canvas — it’s about capturing a moment of calm, joy, and soulful connection in every piece.
Artistic Vision
My artistic vision is simple:
to intuitively paint bold, colorful, joyful reflections of my soul’s connection to what God gives me each day. I hope that through my artwork, you’ll share in that experience, feel lifted, and see joy in new ways.
Why I Create
Art is both prayer and expression for me. When I pick up my tools, I sense the tug of gratitude for what I see, hear, and feel. My goal is to create paintings that whisper of joy, hope, connection, and beauty — that you might carry a bit of that energy into your space and your life.
My Journey & Inspiration
Art has been my companion through seasons of life. In every brushstroke, I aim to capture moments — sunsets, river reflections, the light dancing on leaves — that speak of gratitude, wonder, and divine gift. Every painting is steeped in that intention: not just to decorate walls, but to convey an invitation to pause, breathe, and feel connected.
I use mixed media—layering textures, color, and depth—so each piece holds presence. My surroundings in Palatka and along the Saint Johns River inform my palette and stories. I also have ties to local art communities (e.g. the Gathering Artists of Putnam), participating in exhibits and local events.
Where You’ll See My Work
I currently exhibit work in Palatka and surrounding Florida art spaces. My paintings have been displayed in local galleries and community art shows. I am proud of the connection I have with collectors who share my passion for original, meaningful art.
