“Live Slowly” is an original mixed media painting by Linda Mann. Presented in a natural wood floating frame and wired to hang, it measures 37.5 x 25.5 inches. Grounded in faith and the experience of living in a natural landscape is what inspires me and what I  bring into the studio during the process of painting.  Being intentionally present and inspired by many beautiful sunrises, on the Saint Johns River, I am willing to be vulnerable with my creative process, in hopes that it brings a closeness for the viewer to that divinity that is God. In a world of hurry, let us live more slowly and with good intentions, followed by purpose.  Live in Truth! Live in Love! “Live Slowly” has found its’ forever home!

“I Am The Storm” is an original mixed media painting by Linda mann, presented in a custom painted floating frame in a black satin finish.  The painting is sealed in a stain / gloss sealer.  Measures 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches framed & ready to hang.  Inspired by the storm clouds, over the Saint Johns River, during an afternoon outing in our vintage ski boat. We cut the run short, getting back to the dock and safely home.  I used this experience to express the power of God,  and His grace through faith, in helping us through life’s storms. Mattthew 8:26.  But He saith unto them, “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?”  Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm”. I pray you grow in faith through the word of God and be encouraged in all things, through your relationship with Jesus Christ. Amen

“Season of the Long Shadows” is an original mixed media painting by Linda Mann, presented in a floating frame of natural tone wood and black inset. Measures 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches and is ready to hang.  Intuitively created in the studio at The Mossy Oak Paintbrush during this winter season.  Hours of intentional meditating and prayer to heal the soul ~ to let go of those seasons of long shadows that can be overcome with God’s grace through faith.  The studio, the canvas, the brushstrokes, the music, the calm, the prayer is all a lifeline to wisdom, knowledge, and joy.  Ecclesiastes 2:26  For God giveth to a man that is good is his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy… I hope you will see this painting and have it connect to your very own journey, your reflection on the before and after, in your season of long shadows, and know the strength that God has planted in you is real because of your trust in Him.  Blessings from the studio!

“Be Still and Know” is a mixed media original canvas painting by Linda Mann. Presented in a custom floating frame, measuring 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches. A warm palette ~ golden sky, lavender clouds, a deep green treeline,, and beyond, ancient steps to a peaceful resting place.  Created intuitively, by the artist.  The perfect verse, Psalm 46:10,  came to mind as the process of connecting & creating came to pass.  May we take time each day to be still … Psalm 46:10  Be still, and know that I am God:  I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. This painting has found its’ forever home!

“Savage Daughter Redeemed” is a mixed media original canvas painting by Linda Mann.  Presented in a custom floating frame, measuring 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches, the beautiful colors blended into this powerful riverside, sky of clouds, suggest a changing direction and intense movement.  Such is a life lived with intention and purpose and growth! As I finished this piece and searching for its’ title, I came across the song, “I Am My Mother’s Savage Daughter”.  It struck a chord and I was reminded of the strength & resilience in my own mother, despite tragedy and fear and loss.  All can be overcome by the redeeming salvation through Jesus.  I am embracing that comfort, as did my mother. For me, painting is the vehicle that allows that wisdom to be presented and shared.  Ephesians 1:7 is a verse I will share ~ “in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace: A special friend has blessed a family member with this painting as a birthday gift and I am grateful & honored to release it to it’s new home!

A trio ~ Crystal Clear Persuasion ~ original mixed media paintings by Linda Mann.  Presented in floating frames / 2  measure  9.5 x 9.5 x 2 and the other is 9.5 x 11.5 x 2 inches.  This trio brings a beautiful and calming sense to a space, as seen in the staged galley pic. The illusion of crystal blue waters and turquoise skies comes from a mystical and magical place in my mind.  I named this original canvas art trio, “Crystal Clear Persuasion”, because of a song, with a similar title, released in 1968, by Tommy James and the Shondells.  I played the 45 on my little turntable over and over.  I was thirteen. It wasn’t until just days ago that I researched the song title for “Crystal Blue Persuasion”, and its meaning to Tommy James.  It revealed something very interesting  ~ the song was inspired by Tommy reading a poem by a fan and the book of Revelation in the Bible, and his spiritual awakening and conversion to Christianity. It is in seeking and finding God that reveals to us, along the way, that he has always been walking alongside us, just waiting for us to trust him & accept Jesus, as our Lord and Savior!  God continues to reveal himself to me & I love sharing what is revealed, through my artwork, with you!  May you find the path too!  I have adjusted the title on my paintings but you get my drift, I’m sure! NOTE:  This delightful trio is currently exhibited in the beautiful lobby @ iHeart Realty, 423 St Johns Ave, Palatka FL, 32177

“Heading to The County Line” original mixed media canvas by Linda Mann, presented in a floating frame,  Measures 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches. Local families are thankful for the fields, and farmers, that grow crops here in Putnam & St Johns Counties, Florida.  Seasonal produce sold at the roadside stand known as, County Line Produce,  inspired the title of this painting.  The cloud formation appeared, and much to my delight, has the shape of the Sunshine State!  Supporting local, small farms and their produce sales is one way I enjoy community here in Putnam County, FL.  Come visit!

“Take Me Back To Cool Waters” original mixed media on canvas by Linda Mann, presented in a floating frame. Measures 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches.  The artist has a quick reference to “cool waters” ~ the beautiful Battenkill River running through Shushan, NY, waters that provided a summer swimming hole by the railroad trestle,  and hours tubing on lazy summer days.  Truly a wonderful experience!  May you forever remember those cool waters, that you cherish, wherever they may be! This painting has found it’s forever home in Spokane, MO, gifted to my nephew and his wife, and represents a very precious place in our hearts.  Art can speak to us, when words are not sufficient.

“Take a Hike – Find Yourself” original mixed media on canvas by Linda Mann, presented in a floating frame.  Measures 37.5 x 25.5 x 2 inches.  The artist relies on the beauty of nature and memories of hikes and horseback rides in Saratoga National Park, to connect to the emotional grounding that comes from those memories.  Staying connected to nature gives our minds a sense of wonder and calm ~ take a walk in the woods with me!  This painting has a forever home back in the Saratoga area of NY!
